Local juice and cider as well! A proposal by Transition Truro to plant 24 apple trees in the grounds of New County Hall by March 2010 has been accepted...
Trees will be selected from local varieties such as Cornish Gillyflower and planted by schoolchildren from nearby Bosvigo School. Barry Champion, ex-Head Gardener of Trelissick will supervise and lend expert support.
A very small step for local food resilience but "from little acorns/apple pips etc......."
